Waxwork Records is thrilled to present HOKUM Original Motion Picture Score by Joseph Bishara. Written and directed by Damien McCarthy, HOKUM stars Adam Scott and follows a misanthropic author who travels to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents' ashes. He becomes trapped in a haunting mystery involving a boarded-up honeymoon suite, a local witch legend, and his own dark past. The film has been praised upon its release for its strong, quiet dread, atmosphere, and character-driven horror. It delves into themes of grief, Irish folklore, and childhood trauma.

Joseph Bishara is an American composer, music producer, and actor, best known for his work scoring films such as Insidious, The Conjuring, Malignant, and Annabelle. After an early influence of classical music, Bishara began experimenting with electronic and experimental music, becoming interested in groups such as Tangerine Dream. He became engrossed in horror scores after watching The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Nosferatu. Bishara is known for his avant-garde style and unique approach to instrumentation and composition that suits horror films particularly well.

Joseph Bishara’s HOKUM score is driven by dark, dissonant strings, unsettling electronics, and haunting vocal choruses that gradually intensify, instilling a persistent sense of dread. Renowned for his expertise in sound design, Bishara fully leans into that craft, weaving elements seamlessly into the HOKUM composition. The result is a deeply immersive sonic experience in which the sound design doesn’t just accompany the score, it amplifies it, surrounding the listener in an oppressive atmosphere that mirrors the film’s dangerous subject matter.

Waxwork Records is proud to present HOKUM Original Motion Picture Score by Joseph Bishara as a deluxe LP set featuring "Honeymoon Suite" pearlescent blood-red and black swirled vinyl, a lenticular-effect front cover bringing "Jack The Donkey" in and out of the television screen artwork, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte UV coating, printed inner sleeves, and all new artwork by Dane Hallett. Hallett's credits include concept design and art for such franchises as Alien, Mad Max, Predator, and Mortal Kombat.

Waxwork Records is proud to announce the release of THEY WILL KILL YOU (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring original music by Grammy and 3x Emmy-winning composer Carlos Rafael Rivera. Blending aggressive synth work with acoustic and electric guitars and sweeping orchestral cues, the music channels the film’s raw, hyper-violent energy while grounding it in a striking emotional undercurrent.

They Will Kill You unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil Hotel, a Satanic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.

The film stars Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette.

Carlos Rafael Rivera shares:

"Working with director Kirill Sokolov on They Will Kill You pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, and I couldn't be more grateful. Early on, Kirill told me that for this movie to work, we always had to 'keep the middle finger in our pocket.’ That meant taking my initial, delicate 'ghost story' piano opening and evolving it into 'The Sisters' and 'The Immortal' themes by leaning heavily into aggressive synths. But the score became much more than a synth gig. Treating the 'Maria Reeves' theme with a mix of classical guitar and synths brought out an eclectic color I had not reached before, blending acoustic and electric guitars with orchestral elements. The challenge was on to write massive, adrenaline-fueled sequences like 'The Fight,' that could propel the hyper-violent tone of the film while protecting its genuine emotional core. It was a deeply collaborative, iterative process that made the music bolder and more badass than I could have imagined. Can't wait for you all to hear this one."

Waxwork Records is thrilled to release THEY WILL KILL YOU (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on vinyl release featuring "Satanic Splatter" colored vinyl, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte-satin coating, a 12"x12" insert, and custom artwork by Dave Merrell.

Waxwork Records, in collaboration with Paramount Pictures, proudly presents PRIMATE Original Motion Picture Score by Adrian Johnston.

Primate is a 2025 horror film directed by Johannes Roberts, a brutal throwback creature feature that turns a tropical getaway into a blood-soaked nightmare. When Ben, an adopted chimpanzee, is bitten by a rabid animal, his behavior shifts violently and the vacation spirals into chaos. The film has been hailed as a gory, old-school animal-attack shocker and an all-killer adrenaline rush.

Composer Adrian Johnston delivers an immersive, synth-driven score that pulses with dread and momentum. In collaboration with Milan Records and Sony Music, Waxwork Records is proud to present the premier vinyl release of BUGONIA Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Jerskin Fendrix. The album is the latest in an ongoing creative partnership between Fendrix and Bugonia director Yorgos Lanthimos following their work together on the director’s previous two films, POOR THINGS and KINDS OF KINDNESS. For Bugonia, Fendrix has crafted a soundscape brimming with sweeping strings, bold brass, thundering percussion and dramatic crescendos, culminating in a grandiose and, at times, bombastic sonic companion to the high-stakes mission at the heart of the film from Focus Features.

Waxwork Records presents the deluxe vinyl release of BUGONIA Original Motion Picture Sountrack by Jerskin Fendrix on 180-Gram Gold and Silver vinyl or 180-Gram Black vinyl, old-style tip on gatefold jackets with built in pages, artwork and design by Vasilis Marmatakis.

Similar to their workflow on Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness, Fendrix and Lanthimos began their third collaboration prior to the film’s production, with Fendrix recording much of the music based solely on conversations with the director as a guide. “For Bugonia, Yorgos did not allow me to see the script, or know anything about the film apart from the three words ‘Bees,’ ‘Basement’ & ‘Spaceship,’” recalls Fendrix of the process. “All of the music is derived from my research on these three areas and seeing how much connective tissue they might have, mainly in a structural/systemic/geometric sense and in regard to some ideas about altitudes.

”Decided early on, however, was the idea to utilize a symphony orchestra throughout the score, prompting a two-day recording session with the London Contemporary Orchestra at the legendary Air Studios with Fendrix conducting. “It was a 90-piece orchestra in one room, which is a very big sound,” Fendrix says. “And they're up for playing around, they're up for experimenting, they're up for embarrassing themselves musically, which not a lot of orchestras are. So being able to play with an orchestra that has that standard, but also that flexibility, which I was able to draw some more unusual, more provocative sounds out of, was an absolute joy.”

BUGONIA Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Features:

• Music by Jerskin Fendrix (Poor Things, Kinds Of Kindness)
• 180-Gram Metallic Gold and Silver Colored Vinyl
• 180-Gram Black Vinyl
• Design by Vasilis Maramtakis
• Old-Style Tip On Gatefold Jackets with Built In Pages

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present TRICK ‘R TREAT Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Douglas Pipes! Directed by Michael Dougherty (KRAMPUS, GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS), TRICK ‘R TREAT has become a modern cult-classic and traditional October viewing alongside classic horror films such as John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN. Starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, and Dylan Baker, TRICK ‘R TREAT has won over fans and critics alike with it’s maliciously whimsical approach of breaking down Halloween traditions in one of the most impressive and beloved horror films to date.

Waxwork Records has worked closely with both Michael Dougherty and composer Douglas Pipes to create the ultimate TRICK ‘R TREAT soundtrack experience.

The expanded double LP features over an hour of music that has been mastered for vinyl and supervised by the composer. Featuring album artwork by Francesco Francavilla (Afterlife With Archie, The Black Beetle). Francavilla has worked as an in-house artist for both Marvel and DC Comics, and has created the full LP packaging artwork with approval from director Michael Dougherty, himself.

Waxwork has officially acquired the full audio stems from the film to create a bonus Spooky Sound FX album that’s perfect for a haunted house, your Halloween party, or to spook your neighbors this season. Like the classic Disney LPs such as “Chilling, Thrilling Sounds From The Haunted House”, the included TRICK ‘R TREAT spooky sound effects album will take the listener through the streets of Warren Valley, Ohio on a cold Halloween night filled with vampires, werewolves, rock quarry zombies, and Sam himself. If that isn't enough, the entire spooky sound effects album has been constructed, mixed, and edited by Evan Chen, the sound designer on Michael Dougherty’s 1996 animated short SEASON’S GREETINGS which features Sam’s first appearance, and inspired the full length feature film TRICK ‘R TREAT.

LP package details include:

• 2xLP "Samhain Splatter" Heavy Bright Orange Splatter on Translucent Black Vinyl

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present GODZILLA 70th Anniversary Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by composer Akira Ifukube. Released in 1954 by director Ishirô Honda, Godzilla holds the record for being the longest-running franchise in film history. Waxwork Records worked closely with Toho to create this deluxe 70th Anniversary release, featuring a re-mastered score and all-new art.

When ships begin to go missing near Odo Island off the coast of Japan, the locals look to the government for help. Paleontologist Kyohei Yamane (Takashi Shimura) is sent to investigate the situation. There, he discovers the horrors of Godzilla, who soon begins attacking the Japanese mainland. As the military’s efforts to destroy the monster continuously fail, scientist Daisuke Serizawa (Akihiko Hirata) is called upon to use his “Oxygen Destroyer” to kill the beast. Finding Godzilla in Tokyo Bay, Serzawa’s machine is used and finally, the beast is felled.

Since its release, Godzilla has continued to terrorize audiences around the world. The film has influenced countless filmmakers, with both Akira Kurosawa and Steven Speilberg citing it as one of their favorite films. The genius use of practical special effects and miniatures changed how the Japanese film industry made movies for decades. Godzilla has spawned over thirty sequel films and countless video games, comic books, toys, TV shows, and more becoming a pop culture phenomenon in the process.

The film’s score by Akira Ifukube has become an instantly recognizable piece of film music. Given only the script and a week in which to compose, Ifukube crafted a score that feels as enormous as the kaiju himself. Godzilla’s theme has become a staple of nearly all subsequent Godzilla films and was considered by Ifukube to be the greatest piece of music he had written. Using low-pitched brass and string instruments, Ifukube gives the score a massiveness and weight that complement the terror and destruction brought about by the rampaging monster. Ifukube also used a deeply resonant stringed instrument to create Godzilla’s iconic roar, a trick used to create the roar throughout the franchise.

Waxwork Records is beyond excited to present this vinyl release of Godzilla for its 70th Anniversary. Re-mastered, pressed to colored vinyl, housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket with matte satin coating, an art print, and featuring all-new artwork throughout by Robert Sammelin.

Waxwork Records proudly presents a very special and deluxe re-issue of the score that launched our record label: H.P. LOVECRAFT’S RE-ANIMATOR Original Motion Picture Score, composed and conducted by Richard Band (From Beyond, Puppet Master, Castle Freak).

Originally released in 2013 as Waxwork’s debut title, the RE-ANIMATOR score returns in a deluxe new edition, completely remastered and packaged to honor the cult-classic 1985 film directed by Stuart Gordon and starring Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton. Features include "Re-Agent" Green and Black swirled vinyl, high quality packaging, exclusive liner notes from both the director and composer, a fold out poster, and more!

About the Composer:

Waxwork Records in association with WaterTower Music is thrilled to present the debut vinyl release of SE7EN Original Motion Picture Score by Howard Shore. Directed by David Fincher, Se7en is a 1995 gritty neo-noir film starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kevin Spacey.

Pitt and Freeman star as Detectives Mills and Somerset as they search for the elusive serial killer John Doe (Spacey), who has been carrying out meticulously planned murders based on each of the Seven Deadly Sins. As the murders pile up, the detectives gain insight to John Doe’s twisted philosophy, leading to the grizzly end of his terrible crime spree.

The score by master composer Howard Shore brings a somber and menacing component to the movie. The dark and symphonic orchestrations undercut Fincher’s gruesome images with an unyielding tension throughout the film. Shore’s deep resonant brass and high eerie strings drag the listener deeper into the cruel and chaotic world of SE7EN.

Waxwork Records is proud to release SE7EN Original Motion Picture Score by Howard Shore for the first time on vinyl as a deluxe 2xLP. Features include 150 gram colored vinyl, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte satin coating, 11"x11" printed insert, and layout and design by Steve Reeves.
