Rob Zombie and Waxwork Records have partnered to release an exclusive, curated line of classic Horror movie soundtracks. “Rob Zombie Presents” will feature several never-before-released film soundtracks that were personally selected by the singer, songwriter, and filmmaker.

Rob Zombie and Waxwork are thrilled to announce the debut vinyl release of “Rob Zombie Presents SPIDER BABY” Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Ronald Stein. Directed by Jack Hill and starring Lon Chaney Jr., Jill Banner, Beverly Washburn, and Sid Haig, SPIDER BABY is a 1967 American Horror film. The film was originally released to near obscurity but has achieved a cult following for its originality, dark humor, and twisted storyline of a dysfunctional family of mentally-regressive orphaned siblings with homicidal tendencies!

This deluxe album includes the complete soundtrack by Ronald Stein for the first time on vinyl, an exclusive interview by Rob Zombie with director Jack Hill and Spider Baby actress Beverly Washburn, 180 gram Blue & Green Marbled colored vinyl, new artwork by Graham Humphreys, deluxe old style tip-on gatefold packaging, a 12"x12" booklet featuring photos from director Jack Hill's personal archive, a 12"x12" art insert, and more!

MARCO BELTRAMI is a two-time Oscar nominated composer. He has collaborated with many iconic film directors including Kathryn Bigelow, James Mangold, Bong Joon-ho, Angelina Jolie, Robert Rodriguez, Luc Besson, Guillermo Del Toro, Wes Craven, Alex Proyas, Jonathan Mostow, Roland Joffé, Jodie Foster, David E. Kelley and Tommy Lee Jones. 

The composer established an early reputation as a genre innovator with his non-traditional horror scores for the Scream franchise. Beltrami’s musical palette has since expanded to virtually all film genres.

Beltrami has received accolades for his music including two Academy Award nominations for Best Score: 3:10 to Yuma and for Best Picture winner The Hurt Locker. In 2011 Beltrami won a Golden Satellite Award (Best Film Score of the Year) for Soul Surfer. Beltrami scored the Marvel film Logan. He also wrote the theme for the hit video game Fortnite. Beltrami scored the critically acclaimed box-office hit A Quiet Place, which was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Score and shortlisted for Best Score for the Oscars. Beltrami won an Emmy for National Geographic’s 2019 Oscar winning documentary Free Solo, (with co-composer Brandon Roberts) for Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary, Series or Special. Beltrami’s recent work includes Paramount Pictures’ horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II, Netflix’s horror film trilogy Fear Street (Parts 1-3).

Waxwork Records is beyond thrilled to release CRIMSON PEAK Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Fernando Velázquez. Crimson Peak is a 2015 gothic-horror romance film directed and co-written by Guillermo Del Toro (Pans Labyrinth, The Devil's Backbone, The Shape Of Water). The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, and Jessica Chastain. It follows the story of an aspiring author who is wood by a mysterious stranger to a remote Gothic mansion built upon a red clay mountain. There, she must decipher the mansion's many secrets, the mystery behind the ghostly visions that haunt her new home, and fight not only for her sanity, but for her very life. The film is described as a ghost-story and gothic-romance heavily inspired by other horror films such as The Haunting, The Innocents, and The Shining.

About the composer:

Fernando Velázquez is an award winning Spanish concert, film, and TV composer. After studying cello at a number of musical conservatories and performing in several orchestras, Velázquez started his carreer as a film composer. He is credited with scoring over 50 feature films including The Orphanage and A Monster Calls. Velázquez's haunting CRIMSON PEAK score features a full orchestra brimming with terror-inducing cues, waltz, dark and moody tracks, juxtaposed with passionate and romantic love themes.

Waxwork Records is proud to present the debut vinyl release of THE SENTINEL Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Gil Mellé. The Sentinel is a 1977 American supernatural Horror film directed by Michael Winner (Death Wish, Death Wish II). The plot focuses on a young model (Cristina Raines) that moves into a historic Brooklyn brownstone that has been sectioned into apartments, only to find out that the building is owned by the Catholic diocese and is a gateway to Hell. The film features early acting roles by several now-household-name actors such as Christopher Walken, Jeff Goldblum, and John Carradine.

Following a string of supernatural Horror films such as Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist, and The Omen, The Sentinel is based off the 1974 novel of the same name by Jeffrey Konvitz. Unlike other films of its time dealing in topics of the occult, The Sentinel features strong visuals and depictions of creatures from Hell as they appear in the works of Dante's Inferno, Christopher Marlowe, and the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch.

Created and directed by filmmaker Mike Flanagan (The Haunting Of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep), the series brings back Flanagan’s longtime collaborators THE NEWTON BROTHERS who once again bring their expert scoring blend of orchestral and synth driven cues wrapped in an eerie, ambient shroud of emotion and darkness.

Starring Iman Benson, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, and Annarah Symone, The Midnight Club tells the story of a group of eight terminally ill young adults residing at the Brightcliffe Home hospice center. Each night at midnight, they gather in the Brightcliffe library to share scary stories. They have also formed a pact: the first to die from their disease must come back and communicate with them from the other side.

With the score, The Newton Brothers lean on their classic roots of piano, effect pedals, synths, and skillful melody to create a dynamic and haunting composition. The continued sense of dread and fear undercuts the beauty of the music. Though bright orchestral themes highlight the score, the electronic and ghostly arpeggiated sounds create a feeling of tension-building unease.

Frazer, and John Harron, the film follows the cast as they navigate zombies, love, obsession, and treachery. Initially slammed by critics upon its release, the movie has been reevaluated and praised by recent critics for its classic horror production. The film has gone on to influence mainstream media, even influencing the band name of White Zombie. Rob Zombie has said of the film, “It’s a great film that not a lot of people know about.
