Waxwork Records is thrilled to present an all new pressing of our double vinyl soundtrack album of the Halloween anthology film TRICK ‘R TREAT! Directed by Michael Dougherty (KRAMPUS, GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS), TRICK ‘R TREAT has become a modern cult-classic and traditional October viewing alongside classic horror films such as John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN. Starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, and Dylan Baker, TRICK ‘R TREAT has won over fans and critics alike with it’s maliciously whimsical approach of breaking down Halloween traditions in one of the most impressive and beloved horror films to date.
Waxwork Records has worked closely with both Michael Dougherty and composer Douglas Pipes to create the ultimate TRICK ‘R TREAT soundtrack experience.
The expanded double LP features over an hour of music that has been mastered for vinyl and supervised by the composer. Featuring album artwork by Francesco Francavilla (Afterlife With Archie, The Black Beetle). Francavilla has worked as an in-house artist for both Marvel and DC Comics, and has created the full LP packaging artwork with approval from director Michael Dougherty, himself.
Waxwork has officially acquired the full audio stems from the film to create a bonus Spooky Sound FX album that’s perfect for a haunted house, your Halloween party, or to spook your neighbors this season. Like the classic Disney LPs such as “Chilling, Thrilling Sounds From The Haunted House”, the included TRICK ‘R TREAT spooky sound effects album will take the listener through the streets of Warren Valley, Ohio on a cold Halloween night filled with vampires, werewolves, rock quarry zombies, and Sam himself. If that isn't enough, the entire spooky sound effects album has been constructed, mixed, and edited by Evan Chen, the sound designer on Michael Dougherty’s 1996 animated short SEASON’S GREETINGS which features Sam’s first appearance, and inspired the full length feature film TRICK ‘R TREAT.
LP package details include:

Waxwork Records is proud to release PRISONERS OF THE GHOSTLAND (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK) by critically-acclaimed composer JOSEPH TRAPANESE (Shadow and Bone, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman). The album features score music written by Trapanese for the Nicolas Cage starring Western directed by Sion Sono.
Of the soundtrack, composer JOSEPH TRAPANESE says, “My score for Prisoners of the Ghostland is a love letter to my favorite films and music. You’ll hear clear influences from Spaghetti Westerns and classic sci-fi, as well as from traditional Japanese music, Baroque Sarabande, and French Impressionism. For me, the collision of these musical styles with Nicolas’ expressive performance and Sion Sono's beautiful images is the most gratifying result of the film. What I love most about Sono-san’s work is that regardless of how dark, violent, or unconventional it may be, there is a clear, effusive, and vibrant joy for filmmaking. One cannot watch a Sion Sono film without being infected by his inventiveness, and I’m honored to have experienced his artistry firsthand. I’m thrilled to be sharing this music with you.”
Waxwork Records is thrilled to present a deluxe double vinyl edition of the soundtrack pressed on 180-gram colored vinyl with gatefold packaging, liner notes from composer Joseph Trapanese, a 12"x12" art print insert, with layout and design by Matt Needle.

Waxwork Records and WaterTower Music areproud to present MALIGNANT Original Motion Picture Score by Joseph Bishara. MALIGNANT is the latest creation fromConjuring universe architect James Wan (Aquaman, Furious 7). The film marks director Wan’s return to his roots with this original horror thriller. In the film, Madison is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities.
Joseph Bishara is an American composer, music producer, and actor best known for his work scoring films such as Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle, and The Prodigy. He is known for his avant-garde style and unique approach to instrumentation and composition that suits horror films particularly well. Bishara disregards horror film score conventions by employing gut-wrenching string dissonance, haunting electronics, and sudden crescendos. Bishara’s MALIGNANT score offers his distinctive style of disquieting strings, pulsing electronics, droning synths, and haunting sound design.

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present George A. Romero’s DAY OF THE DEAD Original Motion Picture Score on deluxe double vinyl. The score to George A. Romero’s DAY OF THE DEAD by composer John Harrison (Creepshow, Tales From The Dark Side) is 100% synth driven, dark, and blends contrasting elements of island music and atonal, droning electronic cues.
In 2013, Waxwork Records and composer John Harrison unearthed the original, lost 1985 master tapes containing the complete DAY OF THE DEAD film score from the attic of a recording studio in Pittsburgh, PA. After restoring, mixing, and mastering the complete musical cues for vinyl, Waxwork assembled a definitive and deluxe release of the film’s classic synth heavy score, approved by both the composer and director George A. Romero.
After receiving many requests from both Waxwork fans, and lovers of both horror cinema and film music, Waxwork Records is proud to re-issue the 2xLP DAY OF THE DEAD score, one of their most popular titles, on deluxe 180 gram “Zombie Rot” vinyl, housed in an old style tip-on gatefold jacket with satin coating and UV spot gloss finish, liner notes by director George A. Romero, an 11”x22” art print featuring liner notes by composer John Harrison created in the form of the infamous “THE DEAD WALK!” newspaper front page featured in the film’s opening credits, and artwork by Jay Shaw.

In partnership with Universal Pictures, Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) and Monkeypaw Productions, Waxwork Records is thrilled to present CANDYMAN Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe. Directed by Nia DaCosta (next year’s The Marvels) from a screenplay by Oscar® winner Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld and DaCosta, Candyman, currently in theaters nationwide, is a fresh take on the blood-chilling urban legend and a contemporary incarnation of the 1992 cult horror classic.
About Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe:
Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (b.1975) is an artist, curator and composer who works primarily with, but not limited to, voice and modular synthesizer for sound in the realm of spontaneous music. Along with analog video synthesis works, he has brought forth an A/V proposal that has been a focus of live performance and installation / exhibition.
The marriage of synthesis and the voice has allowed for a heightened physicality in the way of ecstatic music, both in a live setting and recorded. The sensitivity of analogue modular synthesis echoes the organic nature of vocal expression, which in this case is meant to put forth a trancelike state. Lowe’s works on paper tend towards human relations to the natural/magical world and the repetition of motifs.
Waxwork Records is proud to present the soundtrack to Candyman in multiple formats, including vinyl, CD and digital. The deluxe 2xLP vinyl release features 180-gram colored vinyl, old-style tip-on gatefold jackets with satin coating and a built-in booklet page, liner notes by composer Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, a 12-page art gallery exhibition catalogue, artwork by Sherwin Ovid and Julian Williams and puppetry art by Manual Cinema.

Waxwork Records is excited to announce the release of GOOSEBUMPSOriginal Motion Picture Music by Danny Elfman. The 180 Gram Double LP has received the seal of approval by author R.L. Stine and features artwork by GOOSEBUMPS artist, Tim Jacobus! Jacobus’ artwork is synonymous with the GOOSEBUMPS legacy, as he has illustrated all 62 original books.
In Goosebumps, teenager Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette), upset about moving from a big city to a small town, finds a silver lining when he meets the beautiful girl, Hannah (Odeya Rush), living right next door, and makes a quick friend in Champ (Ryan Lee). But every silver lining has a cloud, and Zach's comes when he learns that Hannah's mysterious dad is in fact R.L. Stine (Jack Black). As Zach starts learning about the strange family next door, he soon discovers that Stine holds a dangerous secret: the creatures that his stories made famous are real, and Stine protects his readers by keeping them locked up in their books. When Stine's creations are unintentionally released from their manuscripts, Zach's life takes a turn for the weird. In a crazy night of adventure, it's up to Zach, Hannah, Champ, and Stine to get all of these figments of Stine's imagination back in the books where they belong to save the town.
Over the last 30 years, four-time Oscar® nominee Danny Elfman has established himself as one of the most versatile and accomplished film composers in the industry. Beginning with his first score on Tim Burton'sPee-wee's Big Adventure, Elfman has scored a broad range of over 100 films.
The Waxwork Records crew grew up reading R.L. Stine's GOOSEBUMPS books feverishly, and we, like so many millions of GOOSEBUMPS fans across the world, became obsessed with the horrific, yet bright, colorful, and welcoming artwork by Tim Jacobus that graced each book cover. Having Tim Jacobus come on board and agree to create all new and original GOOSEBUMPS art for our vinyl soundtrack is a dream come true.
Tim has kept every transparency of his GOOSEBUMPS artwork in an archive over the years and keeping true to the spirit of those creepy books, every pantone color used to create our new vinyl LP artwork and layout are the same colors that Jacobus used to illustrate the original book covers! Waxwork Records, in partnership with Back Lot Music and Focus Features, is proud to present Edgar Wright’s The Sparks Brothers Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Pressed to 180 gram vinyl on “Black and White Marble” colored vinyl, this deluxe 4xLP includes 42 tracks that take us on a journey through five decades of music with Sparks brothers, Ron and Russell Mael.
The Sparks Brothers is a 2021 documentary directed by Edgar Wright, and produced by Edgar Wright and Nira Park. Wright often uses music as a fundamental part of his film making, drawing especially from popular music. He was inspired to create a film about the brothers after a life-long obsession with the band. Spending much of their personal lives out of the public eye, this riveting documentary finally sheds light on the Sparks brothers in an intimate way. With commentary by stars like Beck, Thurston Moore, Flea, Duran Duran, and Jack Antonoff, we discover how much of an influence the brothers had over the cinematic and musical world. “If you want to look at Ron and Russell, you have to look at them through one prism. And that prism is cinema.” – Alex Kapranos, Franz Ferdinand
Formed five decades ago, Sparks is a pop rock band comprised of two brothers, Ron and Russell Mael. The ever-evolving band has always stayed at the forefront of modern pop by changing their music styles and visual presentation. With 25 creative and bold albums under their belt, the pop duo has influenced and set the tone for many bands to follow. “Because Sparks went off and did completely different things, they planted the seed and others picked up on it and carried it on, as Sparks went off in another direction. They truly opened musical paths,” says producer George Hencken (Soul Boys of the Western World).
Waxwork is thrilled to present the vinyl release of The Sparks Brothers as a 4xLP deluxe album package featuring 180 gram “Pink” or “Black and White Marble” colored vinyl, exclusive liner notes by Edgar Wright, and The Sparks Brothers themselves, Ron and Russell Mael, an eight page booklet, and an 11”x17” poster, all housed in a deluxe heavyweight four pocket book-style gatefold jacket with matte satin finish with design and layout by Matt Needle. In partnership with Milan Records, Waxwork Records is proud to present COME TRUE Original Motion Picture Score by Electric Youth and Pilotpriest. COME TRUE is a 2021 science-fiction horror film written and directed by Anthony Scott Burns. The film follows the story of high school student, Sarah, who is at her lowest point yet when she runs away from home and finds herself with no one to rely on and struggling with recurring nightmares. She chances upon a university sleep study that offers the promise of safety and money and brings her an unexpected friend and confidant in the overseeing scientist Jeremy. But there’s something curious about proceedings and being under observation seems to make Sarah’s disturbing dreams even worse. As the darkness begins to close in, it’s soon clear that Sarah has unknowingly become the conduit to a horrifying, new discovery…
Inspired by the work of Nicolas Roeg, William Friedkin, Stanley Kubrick, and David Cronenberg, as well as sleep studies conducted by Berkeley University, COME TRUE seeks to ask what would happen if we could see other people’s dreams? What would we see? What would we discover about ourselves? What if these shadows from our collective dreams saw us looking back at them?
The music of COME TRUE was composed by celebrated synth-pop duo Electric Youth and electronic artist Pilotpriest and encapsulates a dark, dreamworld landscape that carries viewers across the journey of the film with pulsing urgency.
ELECTRIC YOUTH is a Toronto-based duo consisting of Bronwyn Griffin (vocals, songwriter) and Austin Garrick (producer, songwriter, synthesizer, drums). Their initial breakthrough came in 2011 when their song “A Real Hero” was prominently featured in the movie DRIVE and went on to be nominated for a 2012 MTV Movie Award in the category of “Best Music” and was named one of the 20 Best Songs of 2011 by Rolling Stone. Their second studio album “Memory Emotion” was released in 2019.
PILOTPRIEST is the music/composing moniker of Anthony Scott Burns. Under this pseudonym, he has released a number of critically successful albums and EP’s, including the twice sold out triple LP cult hit “Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”, which was released on Waxwork Records.
Waxwork Records is excited to present COME TRUE Original Motion Picture Soundtrack as a deluxe vinyl release featuring heavyweight “Sleep Study” colored vinyl (Cyan Blue with Red and Yellow Splatter), new artwork by Sara Deck, old style tip-on gatefold jackets, a heavyweight insert, liner notes, and production photography.

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Blitz//Berlin. PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN is a 2021 Canadian Science Fiction horror comedy film written and directed by Steven Kostanski. It tells the story of a young sister and brother who unwittingly resurrect an ancient extraterrestrial overlord. The movie taps into late 80’s and early 90’s nostalgia by combining kid-friendly adventures and over the top practical effects. Goreman cleverly blends the horror and fantasy genres with a healthy dose of neon soaked visuals. The film is incredibly unique while remaining familiar with comparisons being drawn from such classics as Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Gate, the 1990’s live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films, Power Rangers, and Masters of the Universe.
Siblings Mimi (Nita-Josee Hanna) and Luke (Owen Myer) couldn’t be any closer. They spend nearly every waking moment together, getting muddy and playing their made-up game “Crazy Ball”. It probably helps that Mimi is bossy and domineering. The fearless tomboy steamrolls just about every family member with her assertive personality, especially dad, Greg (Astron-6 member Adam Brooks). During a particularly grueling game of Crazy Ball in the backyard, the siblings uncover a strange gem that awakens an evil intergalactic conqueror. The being, which the siblings’ dub PG: Psycho Goreman, is eager to assemble his former team of evildoers and continue their path of destruction, while the benevolent rulers that locked him away in the first place race to stop him once and for all.
The soundtrack by Blitz//Berlin is wild, thematic ride that features introduction narration, bombastic orchestral cues, lush synth-wave, 80’s inspired big-hair pop-rock power ballads, distorted guitars and enormous percussion.
