In collaboration with NETFLIX, Waxwork Records is excited to present RIPLEY Original Netflix Series Soundtrack Music by Jeff Russo.

Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom's acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud, and murder. The limited series drama is based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels. Andrew Scott plays Tom Ripley. Dakota Fanning plays Marge Sherwood. Johnny Flynn plays Dickie Greenleaf

Two-time Grammy nominee and Emmy-winning composer Jeff Russo is at the top of his field, scoring varied and compelling music for television, film, and video games. Russo won the Emmy and received two additional Emmy nominations for his thrilling and angst-producing score on FX’s Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series “Fargo.” He currently scores two Peabody Award-nominated shows: CBS’s reimagining of the iconic cult-classic series “Star Trek: Discovery;” and FX’s “Legion,” starring Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza; as well as Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy,” starring Elliot Page, Tom Hopper and Mary J. Blige, based on the popular comic book series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba; and Noah Hawley’s feature directorial debut from Fox Searchlight, “Lucy In the Sky,” starring Natalie Portman and John Hamm.

Russo began his music career in 1990, after founding his rock band TONIC. The group quickly achieved great success and in 2003, received two Grammy nominations, one for "Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal" for "Take Me As I Am," and one for "Best Rock Album.” The band was a great showcase for Russo’s guitar work and songwriting that allowed him to branch out and begin his solo career in producing and composing.

Their simultaneous disappearance baffles authorities and sets the stage for an unsettling cinematic experiences.

The WEAPONS soundtrack captures the eerie atmosphere and emotional intensity of the film with original compositions from the Holladay brothers and Cregger. From minimal ambient textures, sculpted synths, samples, to deeply unsettling orchestral crescendos, the score is both gripping and unforgettable.

WEAPONS Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Features:

Waxwork Records is proud to announce the release of THEY WILL KILL YOU (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring original music by Grammy and 3x Emmy-winning composer Carlos Rafael Rivera. Blending aggressive synth work with acoustic and electric guitars and sweeping orchestral cues, the music channels the film’s raw, hyper-violent energy while grounding it in a striking emotional undercurrent.

They Will Kill You unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil Hotel, a Satanic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.

The film stars Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette.

Carlos Rafael Rivera shares:

"Working with director Kirill Sokolov on They Will Kill You pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, and I couldn't be more grateful. Early on, Kirill told me that for this movie to work, we always had to 'keep the middle finger in our pocket.’ That meant taking my initial, delicate 'ghost story' piano opening and evolving it into 'The Sisters' and 'The Immortal' themes by leaning heavily into aggressive synths. But the score became much more than a synth gig. Treating the 'Maria Reeves' theme with a mix of classical guitar and synths brought out an eclectic color I had not reached before, blending acoustic and electric guitars with orchestral elements. The challenge was on to write massive, adrenaline-fueled sequences like 'The Fight,' that could propel the hyper-violent tone of the film while protecting its genuine emotional core. It was a deeply collaborative, iterative process that made the music bolder and more badass than I could have imagined. Can't wait for you all to hear this one."

Waxwork Records is thrilled to release THEY WILL KILL YOU (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on vinyl release featuring "Satanic Splatter" colored vinyl, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte-satin coating, a 12"x12" insert, and custom artwork by Dave Merrell.

In partnership with Independent Film Company, Waxwork Records is proud to announce the release of THE PLAGUE Original Motion Picture Score composed and performed by Johan Lenox.

Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival to an 11-minute standing ovation, The Plague has garnered significant critical attention. Set at an all-boys water polo camp, the film follows a socially anxious twelve-year-old who becomes entangled in a cruel tradition targeting an outcast, as the boundary between ritual and reality begins to erode.

Composer Johan Lenox’s original score underscores the film’s tense, feral atmosphere through an organic palette of percussion, solo strings, and densely layered vocals. The music mirrors the story’s escalating unease, balancing vulnerability with an ever-present sense of menace.

In exclusive liner notes included with the soundtrack, Lenox reflects on his immediate connection to the project:

“After years of dodging questions about when I would compose my first film score, I finally found the perfect project in Charlie Polinger’s The Plague. I was immediately struck by the story’s primal, Lord of the Flies–like quality.”

Johan Lenox is a singer, composer, and music producer whose work spans the classical, film, and musical theater worlds, as well as a career as a solo artist and collaborator of rappers and pop stars. Many of his projects are driven by a passion for turning mainstream audiences into lovers of classical music.

Continuing Waxwork Records’ commitment to elevated physical releases, The Plague soundtrack is pressed on "Pool Water Blue" colored vinyl and housed in heavyweight jackets featuring a matte satin finish. The release also includes printed inner sleeves and exclusive composer liner notes written specifically for this edition.

Never Let Go is a 2024 survival horror film directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Horns, Crawl) and starring Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV, and Anthony B. Jenkins. The plot follows a woman credited as "Momma" and her two young children Nolan and Samuel who live in a cabin in a large remote forest. According to Momma, a supernatural force known as "The Evil" has spread across the world, causing it to end and leaving them as the only survivors. Momma is besieged by visions of supernatural entities that her sons cannot see but believe are real.

After the successful sell-out soundtrack release of the Oz Perkins (Longlegs) directed GRETEL & HANSEL, Waxwork Records is excited to team back up with composer Robin Coudet, aka ROB, on his outstanding new score to Never Let Go. ROB is a musician, author, singer, composer, and producer. Waxwork Records is proud to release the debut solo-album by Lia Braswell. 'Rising' marks Braswell's emergence as a primary songwriter, unveiling an ethereal dream-folk sound that emphasizes atmospheric melodies and introspection.

If Braswell’s name rings a bell, that’s because it should. Having done time as the touring drummer for A Place To Bury Strangers, TR/ST, Le Butcherettes, Sextile, and many others, Braswell has performed on nearly every continent and played internationally renowned festivals such as Coachella and Cruel World. As such, it should come as no surprise that her impressive resumé shines through in the expertly crafted, ethereal dream pop of Rising. Simultaneously evoking the airy, atmospheric sensibilities of Cocteau Twins, the pop-forward experimentation of Kate Bush, and the hyper-danceable, retro synthwave of contemporary artists like Riki and Nuovo Testamento, Braswell’s self-assured presence as both a songwriter and vocalist results in an effort that bears none of the awkward growing pains one might expect from a new project. Equally arresting is Braswell’s lyrical finesse, with profoundly evocative and delicately personal narratives elevating the already deeply affecting music to heights that border on the sublime.

Moving from the relative anonymity of a drum kit to the revealing illumination of center stage comes with its own unique set of anxiety-inducing challenges, but if Braswell is experiencing any trepidation, it certainly doesn’t show in the quality of her music. Then again, when you’ve already toured with Iggy and the Stooges by age 20, maybe embarking on a solo career seems quaint in comparison. What’s beyond debate is that Braswell has a remarkable knack for songwriting and performance that is self-evident on her stunning debut. Accomplished a career as it already, Rising feels like just one more step forward in an ever-growing body of work that is much greater than the sum of its parts.

From Lia Braswell:

"This record took years for me to write. I wrote every single day since 2013, which was the practice that helped me get through to the words and sentiment that would be able to condense such deep emotions into 4-5 minute songs. It’s an album from the depths of my heart and all that it’s been beating through."

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present 'Rising' as a deluxe double LP featuring three previously unreleased bonus tracks, "Zinnia" splatter colored vinyl, a heavyweight gatefold jacket with overall UV gloss coating, a vertical belly-band, a 12"x12" full color insert and lyric sheet, and an 18"x24" full color poster.
