Waxwork Records is proud to present C.H.U.D. Original Motion Picture Soundtrack! In close partnership with the film's composers MartinCooper and David Hughes, we located the original 1984 master tapes, restored them, and mixed and mastered the complete film music to create the definitive and official C.H.U.D. soundtrack album release.
Released in 1984, C.H.U.D. has gained a devoted cult following amongst B-Movie Horror fans. The film is widely referenced in pop culture via The Simpsons, Archer, and most recently, Jordan Peele's Us. C.H.U.D. has also served as a launching pad for several actors such as John Goodman (Roseanne, The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona), Daniel Stern (Home Alone), and John Heard (Home Alone).
The primitive electronic score composed and performed by Martin Cooper and David Hughes captures the seedy, grim landscape that embodied early 1980s NYC via synth drones, sound design, loops, and arpeggiated notes.
Waxwork is thrilled to present the complete film music to C.H.U.D. on CD package featuring art by Ghoulish Gary Pullin, gatefold jackets with matte satin coating, and more.

KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE have finally landed at Waxwork Records! After much anticipation, we are thrilled to present the official1988 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by John Massari for the very first time on vinyl! Would you believe someone if they told you a circus tent-shaped spaceship landed in your small town and was abducting your neighbors to store them in cotton candy cocoons? In this '80's cult classic, teens Mike Tobacco (Grant Cramer) and Debbie Stone (Suzanne Snyder) have to fight both the diabolical bozos and the local law enforcement's disbelief to save themselves and their community!
The original score to Killer Klowns From Outer Space is kicked off by the classic 80’s horror movie theme track, Killer Klowns (From Outer Space) by California punk band, The Dickies. The ‘nightmare merry-go-round’ continues with a smattering of menacing electronic brass sections, electric guitar, bombastic drum machine beats, & harpsichord combined with sci-fi synth elements to capture the ultra-specific origins of the antagonists. Waxwork Records is honored to present MOTHRAOriginal 1961 Motion Picture Soundtrack byYūji Koseki. MOTHRA is the very first of many TOHO films to feature the Queen of the Monsters. The plot follows an exploitative businessman who kidnaps the Shobijin, a pair of tiny twins played by Yumi & Emi Ito, from Infant Island. He forces them to begin performing as singers in a sideshow attraction. What he doesn’t know is that the twins have a psychic connection to the God of Infant Island, Mothra, the colossal winged Kaiju monster. Mothra is summoned and wreaks havoc in order to protect her people, making her the only morally righteous Kaiju in the Monsterverse.
The score by Yūjui Koseki features booming orchestral pieces that accompany Mothra in her mission to protect her people countered by waves of clairvoyant and electronically performed compositions including sci-fi sound effects. Sprinkled throughout the score, The Peanuts sing ballads to their beloved winged Kaiju, recognized by their iconic vocal doubling.

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present Phil Tippett’s MAD GOD Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Dan Wool.
MAD GOD is a stop-motion live-action hybrid horror film written, produced, and directed by Phil Tippett. The film follows a tall figure shrouded in a jacket and gas mask known only as The Assassin as he descends into a ruined, hellish world. In his possession, The Assassin has a map of the world and a suitcase with a bomb which he has been tasked with detonating behind enemy lines within the desolate world.
Visual effects virtuoso Phil Tippet (Jurassic Park, Star Wars, RoboCop, Indiana Jones) along with a multitude of dedicated filmmakers spent 30 years creating this artistic masterpiece that defies genre and urges each viewer to take away individual meaning from the piece. MAD GOD is what happens when creative collaboration keeps going despite a project being “finished.” It’s a beast of a film that grew from mad, dedicated, visionary minds.
Dan Wool was brought on to score MAD GOD in 2009. Due to the nature of the animation, there was no audio or dialogue to accompany the picture Wool was given. This combined with the film's storyline, motivated Dan Wool to compose exclusively based on how the images made him feel, creating a unique relationship between composer and viewer. His style of scoring opened up a level of vulnerability and sense of perspective within the characters. Not to say the score isn’t terrifying at points, but it is also hopeful and penetrates a level of dark fantasy that makes MAD GOD more than a horror movie.
Waxwork Records is thrilled to present the music of Phil Tippett'sMAD GOD as a deluxe double LP featuring Dan Wool's soundtrack with 180 gram colored vinyl, deluxe packaging, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte coating, a booklet with extensive liner notes by Phil Tippett and Dan Wool, and more!
