EVIL DEAD 2 remains the outstanding follow up to 1981’s THE EVIL DEAD, picking up where the first film leaves off, with even more blood, demonic possession, bodily dismemberment, and evil deadites topped off with generous amounts of slapstick comedy.
The original soundtrack by composer Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Army Of Darkness, Ash Vs. Evil Dead) is the sophisticated follow up to the first film’s soundtrack, engrossing the listener in dark orchestral horror, electronic cues, and haunting lullaby compositions.
Available for the first time since our 30th Anniversary edition of the soundtrack released in 2017, Waxwork Records is proud to present the deluxe, re-mastered-for-vinyl soundtrack to one of the most beloved films in the history of horror cinema. Fueled by frenetic action, unhinged heart, and absurd humor, Bullet Time delivers a visually explosive ride that blends 90s cartoon weirdness with cutting-edge animation and a pulse-pounding original score.
About the creator:
Eddie Alcazar is an American director, writer, producer and game developer. Unconfined by genre, his multi-technique approach to visual storytelling is an exploration of undiscovered cinematic territories. He coined the term "Meta-Scope" to describe a visionary technique that blends live action and stop-motion.
Alcazar was the winner and sole recipient of a worldwide art and design competition, receiving a scholarship to the Academy of Art University where he studied VFX and Animation Film Theory. He was named one of the 25 New Faces of Film by Filmmaker Magazine and one of the best new directors in America by Shoot Magazine.
About the composer:
Danny Elfman, film composer, classical composer, singer-songwriter, and recording artist, has garnered international recognition for composing over 100 feature film scores, as well as compositions for television, stage productions, and the concert hall. Elfman has been Tim Burton’s composer for more than 35 years, having scored 17 Burton films such as Batman, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish, Alice in Wonderland, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, as well as music, lyrics and songs forThe Nightmare Before Christmasfor which he also sang the part of Jack Skellington. Elfman was also the lead singer and songwriter for the LA rock band Oingo Boingo for 17 years.
