In collaboration with Milan Records and Sony Music, Waxwork Records is proud to present the premier vinyl release of BUGONIA Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Jerskin Fendrix. The album is the latest in an ongoing creative partnership between Fendrix and Bugonia director Yorgos Lanthimos following their work together on the director’s previous two films, POOR THINGS and KINDS OF KINDNESS. For Bugonia, Fendrix has crafted a soundscape brimming with sweeping strings, bold brass, thundering percussion and dramatic crescendos, culminating in a grandiose and, at times, bombastic sonic companion to the high-stakes mission at the heart of the film from Focus Features.

Waxwork Records presents the deluxe vinyl release of BUGONIA Original Motion Picture Sountrack by Jerskin Fendrix on 180-Gram Black, old-style tip on gatefold jackets with built in pages, artwork and design by Vasilis Marmatakis, and inserted newsprint posters.

Similar to their workflow on Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness, Fendrix and Lanthimos began their third collaboration prior to the film’s production, with Fendrix recording much of the music based solely on conversations with the director as a guide. “For Bugonia, Yorgos did not allow me to see the script, or know anything about the film apart from the three words ‘Bees,’ ‘Basement’ & ‘Spaceship,’” recalls Fendrix of the process. “All of the music is derived from my research on these three areas and seeing how much connective tissue they might have, mainly in a structural/systemic/geometric sense and in regard to some ideas about altitudes.

”Decided early on, however, was the idea to utilize a symphony orchestra throughout the score, prompting a two-day recording session with the London Contemporary Orchestra at the legendary Air Studios with Fendrix conducting. “It was a 90-piece orchestra in one room, which is a very big sound,” Fendrix says. “And they're up for playing around, they're up for experimenting, they're up for embarrassing themselves musically, which not a lot of orchestras are. So being able to play with an orchestra that has that standard, but also that flexibility, which I was able to draw some more unusual, more provocative sounds out of, was an absolute joy.”

In a remarkable discovery, Waxwork Records worked closely with composer John Harrison to locate the original, long-lost 1982 CREEPSHOW master tapes tucked away in an attic in Pittsburgh. Remixed and remastered specifically for vinyl, the CREEPSHOW score has never sounded this vibrant, immersive, or haunting. This deluxe edition features every piece of Harrison's iconic score music from the classic film, including tracks from “Father’s Day”, “The Lonesome Death Of Jordy Verrill”, “The Crate”, “Something To Tide You Over”, and “They’re Creeping Up On You”.

Starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, and Dylan Baker, TRICK ‘R TREAT has won over fans and critics alike with it’s maliciously whimsical approach of breaking down Halloween traditions in one of the most impressive and beloved horror films to date.

Waxwork Records has worked closely with both Michael Dougherty and composer Douglas Pipes to create the ultimate TRICK ‘R TREAT soundtrack experience.

The expanded double LP features over an hour of music that has been mastered for vinyl and supervised by the composer. Featuring album artwork by Francesco Francavilla (Afterlife With Archie, The Black Beetle). Francavilla has worked as an in-house artist for both Marvel and DC Comics, and has created the full LP packaging artwork with approval from director Michael Dougherty, himself.

Waxwork has officially acquired the full audio stems from the film to create a bonus Spooky Sound FX album that’s perfect for a haunted house, your Halloween party, or to spook your neighbors this season. Like the classic Disney LPs such as “Chilling, Thrilling Sounds From The Haunted House”, the included TRICK ‘R TREAT spooky sound effects album will take the listener through the streets of Warren Valley, Ohio on a cold Halloween night filled with vampires, werewolves, rock quarry zombies, and Sam himself. If that isn't enough, the entire spooky sound effects album has been constructed, mixed, and edited by Evan Chen, the sound designer on Michael Dougherty’s 1996 animated short SEASON’S GREETINGS which features Sam’s first appearance, and inspired the full length feature film TRICK ‘R TREAT.

Originally a 1959 gothic horror novel written by American author Shirley Jackson, THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE is a multi-episode Netflix horror series directed by Mike Flanagan (Hush, Gerald’s Game) and starring Carla Gugino (Sin City, Wayward Pines) and Henry Thomas (E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial). 

The plot centers around The Crain family which consists of a mother, father and five children that temporarily move into the Hill House mansion in 1992. The intention is to renovate the sprawling home and then sell it for a profit in effort to build their very own dream house. Soon after moving into Hill House, they begin to experience increasing paranormal activity that results in a tragic loss and the family fleeing from the house. 26 years later, the Crain siblings and their estranged father reunite after a new tragedy, and they are all forced to confront how their time in Hill House affected each of them.

The series has received critical acclaim and praise. Author Stephen King described the series as “close to a work of genius." The Telegraph calls it “the most complex and complete horror series of its time." Forbes stated that “it may actually be Netflix’s best original show, ever." RogerEbert.com gave unanimous praise calling it “essential viewing” and stated that “the show contains some of the most unforgettable horror imagery in film or television in years."

The superb music to THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE was composed by The Newton Brothers and features compositions that are a complex blend of ambient orchestral cues and melancholy, haunting piano. The music is effectively hypnotic, ghostly, gothic, and at times, downright terrifying. A stack of 12 full-octane industrial metal bangers, new album CONFLICT DLC sees HEALTH continue to explore deep existential undercurrents through a borderless genre lens. Their unapologetically heavy sound has run from harsh electronic noise beginnings through gale-force industrial pop to the half-joking categorisation “cum metal” of their previous album RAT WARS – yet what unites HEALTH’s music is its root of depressive weight and maximalist aesthetic intensity. HEALTH want CONFLICT DLC to speak directly to their fanbase, which they describe as a “coalition of subcultures” - spanning memelords, heavy music diehards, the delightfully perverted and generally pop culture obsessed - and for all its existential strain, it is ultimately designed for enjoyment.

Lyrically, Jake continues to inhabit familiar terrain - depression, anxiety, compulsion - but now with a resonance born of 2025’s hyper-digital doomscrolling culture.

For the new album, HEALTH enlisted the inimitable STINT for production again who took the cinematic heaviness established on RAT WARS and pushed it in a more concentrated direction for CONFLICT DLC. The band also tapped Knocked Loose producer Drew Fulk (aka WZRD BLD) to mix the album alongside Lars Stalfors, who together expertly balanced the high contrast textures of the album.

A slate of sad bangers for the end times, CONFLICT DLC finds connection in the disconnect and glitter in the dark.
